Banks & Fossil Fuels

Since the Paris Agreement was signed,  the world’s 60 largest banks have poured over $6.9 trillion into the fossil fuel industry in the form of loans and underwriting. Without these banks, fossil fuel companies wouldn’t be able to build ever-more, ever-growing coal, oil and gas sites as if there was no tomorrow.

We call on all banks to immediately stop all financing of fossil fuel exploration and expansion.

Banks and Arms

High street banks are funding the world’s most notorious arms companies.

Through loans and investments, banks finance the extreme violence and injustice that we see in places like Palestine. UK banks and financial institutions alone hold shares worth £10.8 billion in companies that sell arms to Israel.
